About Us
We Are The World is the biggest International theme based Annual, Interschool, Cultural Extravaganza in Mumbai, hosted by The Rotaract Club Of H.R. College. This massive event has maintained a 19 year legacy, providing nothing but perfect quality. This event witnesses the top schools of Bombay, battling it out to win several titles. It remains the dream of several school going individuals to participate at this extravaganza. This project witnesses a set of esteem judges and high profile compères. Throughout the years the students have been participating in events that test several skills, right from performing arts to the sports they play, each event includes an attraction that makes it memorable and an experience that provides knowledge. As the theme suggests each school is asked to select a country and portray it throughout the event.
The world took millions of years to build itself, however, we merely take 2 days to do so.
The perfect
World
The 18th We Are The World was executed in a very extravagant manner, happening at 3 venues, namely- Birla Matushri Auditorium, Karnataka Sporting Association and Alexandra Girl’s High School. Total of 33 schools participating, highest ever witnessed.
A whole new
world
The 19th We Are The World saw an open- air stage for than first time in more than a decade. Along with the Karnataka Sporting Association, H.R. College was a venue for the event. A grand WATW with the highest footfall of more than 5000 viewers was seen. An entire touch of a concert was added with the lights and the stage.
The world comes back together
We Are The World was brought back and organised after a 2-year break; at Karnataka sporting association and H.R. College. New concepts such as PRNC’s Pre-registered non-contingents) and the official sundowner of the 20th WATW: The Big Bang was introduced where one of the most talented artist Rahil Mehta and Saahel Music performed.
The world where we belong
The 21st WATW took place at St. Stanislaus School, Bandra. It was a 3 day extravaganza with over 20 schools participating in different events. We also had Zal Shroff and Vivan Roshan to perform as the official Sundowner of the 21st We Are the World. We saw a total of 20 sponsors and 30 partners.
